History of kimchi;
Kimchi comes in all forms and flavors.
Kimchi First appeared during the 3 kingdom
era(4th_7th centuries)/an era when three kingdom coexisted in one state.
In this era they used seawater or salt water to pickle their vegetable.
During Japanese invasions of Korea(1592_1598 )
There was one chilli pepper that entered korea from Japan.....Now the red color of kimchi is because of this pepper.
In the past Koreans used Cockscomb to give appetizing red color to kimchi.
Koreans make kimchi spicy by using: garlic,ginger,sancho(Chinese peppers)

Almost 1 month i did not share any story to fellow friends. Actually i just come back from holiday..I want to share foods i craving most.. I visited Kuala Lumpur aka KL, national capital and most populous global city in Malaysia.
If i travel to Kuala Lumpur i gonna search for Korean Foods. KL have a lots korean restaurant for examples Koryo Won, Da un Fine, Seoul Garden and more.
I choose Seoul Garden because nearest Korean Restaurant. Thanks GOD im full. I will always remember brought Kimchi along with me once i go back. I love Kimchi. (❀◕ ‿ ◕❀) (❁◕ ‿ ◕❁) (✾◕ ‿ ◕✾)

My experiences with Korean traditional foods start when i was a University student. My first Korean foods i had taste was ddukbokki, kimchi and kimchi jeon. Ddukbokki really delicious. Maybe because of the sauce. But i really want to enjoy different taste of Korean Cuisine. One day, it will happen... (⁎⚈᷀᷁▿⚈᷀᷁⁎)
I missed the foods. Last year, i go vacation to big city. I am so suprise, i found kimchi with HALAL certificate (as image upload). Quite expensive. Because i missed kimchi so much, i brought it. At my hometown no kimchi available. The taste so yummy.. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

Koreans take their kimchi very seriously: it is a staple in the Korean diet, and a side of kimchi is always expected when having a meal. And if you think you know kimchi, think twice: there are 250 kinds of kimchi, the most popular of which being cabbage kimchi (paechu kimchi), diced raddish kimchi (kakktugi), cucumber kimchi (o-i kimchi) and water kimchi (moul kimchi).

This the Korean food i tried last week. Me and my friends were invited my Korean embassy of Bangladesh. We performed in a event. So they invited us in a dinner to thank us. The food was really delicious. We ate sweet chicken, bibimbap squied and 4types of Kimchi.

Korean food is becoming popular world wide, and galbi, bibimbap, and kimchi jjigae have become terms known by Korean food connoisseurs and casual fans alike. One of the reasons Korean food has been successful is that it is generally well suited for taste buds all across the globe and there’s a wide variety of dishes making it easy for people to find something they like.
But Korean food is more than just bibimbap and kimchi. There’s a whole range of dishes that most non-Koreans have never even heard about. This is Korean food for the brave. Whether it be because of taste, smell, texture, or spiciness, these bizarre Korean dishes are on the extreme end of the spectrum, so much that even some Koreans won’t eat them.
Here’s a list of 5 of the strangest Korean dishes. Read on to see if you’re brave enough to try them.

Mostly sold in markets or by vendors in parks, this dish is eaten quickly and on the go- like a hot dog you’d eat from a cart in New York City. Instead of a familiar hot dog, though, it’s steamed silkworm larvae. Koreans grab a cup of the steamed larvae (complete with the juices that come out during the steaming process) and walk around the park enjoying the view, eating the silk worms with a toothpick. The taste is nothing special, nor is it particularly revolting (thought the smell takes some getting used to), but the actual feel of a silkworm larvae in your mouth, complete with the explosion that comes with the first bite, is what makes this Korean food so hard to swallow.
Tip 1: Find these in markets and large parks in Korea. They can also be found in Korean supermarkets around the world.
Tip 2: Korean supermarkets in America will sell these in cans, but they are labeled as fish bait.

Fermented Cabbage Soup
Kimchi chigae is a very popular soup made primarily with kimchi. It is often prepared using older, more fermented and ripe kimchi, creating a stronger and flavorful taste while fresh kimchi may not bring out the full and rich flavors. Different variations can exist but sliced kimchi is usually put into a pot with tofu, onions, garlic and beef, pork or seafood, which are all boiled together with water or anchovy stock.
The soup is seasoned with either dwenjang and/or gochujang which contributes to the distinctive red color. Final soup is normally served in a stone pot and still boiling when served on the table. Typically, kimchi chigae is eaten with a bowl of rice accompanied by various side dishes!
