Idol Rebooting Project 'The Unit' will premiere tonight on KBS World.
Among many contestants, T-ara's former member Han Areum surprises everyone when she shows up as a contestant. She addresses the reason why she left T-ara in the past saying, "I can't say that there was no beef. But we all fight even with our family. The other members were young, and I was even younger. It was a minor discord that exists in any family."
Then she goes on to explain the rumor that she was possessed with a spirit. She says, "There was such rumor, too. I posted selfies of myself in a Halloween costume, and those pictures spread with such rumors. So I ended up having sociophobia. I was hospitalized for a month and received mental treatment."
When asked why she decided to appear on 'The Unit,' she says, "I was practicing while looking at the mirror and thought it was a waste for me to remain a trainee."
'The Unit' is a survival reality show aims to give those idols who had already debuted a fair chance to demonstrate their talents that they may not have been able to showcase before.
