Red Velvet's Irene takes photo next to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

On April 1, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju watched South Korean K-pop singers perform in Pyongyang, North Korea.

The singers who performed include Cho Yong Pil, Lee Sunhee, Choi Jinhui, Yoon Dohyun, Baek Z Young, Jung-In, Girls' Generation's Seohyun, Red Velvet and ALi.

After the concert, the South Korean singers took commemorative photos with Kim Jong-un and Ri Sol-ju. Red Velvet's Irene was standing next to Kim Jong-un.

During the interview that took place after the performance, Irene said, "People from North Korea showed good reaction to our performance. They clapped a lot, and they kept applauding even after the performance was over. I felt a little strange."
