1. Korean Food Geographic : There are certain foods in certain regions. Why so? Local specialties reflect the combined effects of a certain region's geographical environment, locals' lives and wisdom and their culture and history. Through indepth coverage and hidden stories, the history and the culture relating to the most representative local dishes will be explored in this "food-mentary" program. 2. Origins of food and the story of preservationists : We meet people who strive to preserve the originality and taste of traditional food. Recipes and taste change with the passing of time but these people stuck to the old way and have maintained tradition. 3. Korea's first quality food documentary : A top quality documentary will be produced with the elements of beautiful imagery and music and friendly presenters (famed local guests) and narrators. This will be a weekly, exclusive food documentary. 4. Why this region...? : Food origins / History / Geographical environment There is no sea in Andong but how did the people there began eating grilled mackerel? There are dried pollack farms in Daegwallyeong and Gangneung but why is Inje famous for them? The origin of specialty foods is the combined end result of the region's geography, customs, culture and historical background. 5. People preserving food traditions : Preservationists/ Eldest daughters-in-law of family clans / Lives of fishermen, farmers. Recipes and taste change with the passing of time but there are people who maintain the tradition whether they intended to do so or not. These are their untold stories. 3. Scientific Food : Ecological perspective on regions and food/ Health info. There is hidden science in all foods. Indigenous ingredients and regional recipes come together to produce local taste. Accurate health information will be provided based on traditional wisdom and nutritional data on ingredients and food products. 4. Recipes and Science : We find the science in the smallest details in recipes. What's the science behind the unique Korean measurement expressions such as "generously" or "a lot?" Every detail and step of the cooking process will be covered for a true food documentary, in contrast to the fast and easy cooking culture of today.
