In 16th century, during Joseon Dynasty, a gisaeng gave birth to a child, Hwangjini. Destined to become a lowly gisaeng herself, Hwangjini engaged her liberal love with music and poetry and fought against gender inequality. Hwangjini was a celebrated ‘Gisaeng’ who would not give in to prejudice. By looking through a life of a greatest gisaeng, who was also a talented artist, viewers would find a new solution to break an age of selflessness.
