  Ha Wanseung (cast: Gwon Sangu)

  Wanseung is a first-rate detective who arrested numerous drug dealers and serial killers while he worked at Seodong Station. It's hard to tell from his nasty tongue and bulky body, but he is actually the youngest son of the founder of "Ha & Jeong," one of the biggest law firms in Korea. His glorious days are over when he moves to Jungjin Station, which boasts #1 detection rate of felony. Not only he is passed over for promotion, but his former classmate who always lagged behind him is now his boss. On top of that, he's not the most handsome detective in the station anymore. He gets riled up and moves to another team, but this time, the team leader is Inspector Wu! Moreover, his superiors hold grudge against him because of what he did to them in the past, and they watch him thirstily for a chance to attack him. He has even fallen out with Seolok, who has been helping with his investigation. He is in the grip of the worst crisis.

  Yu Seolok (cast: Choi Kang Hee)

  Seolok was an ordinary housewife who always dreamed of becoming a police officer. After the divorce, she frees herself from her difficult in-laws and makes up her mind to become a police officer. She tries to focus on preparing for the exam; however, she runs into cases everywhere she goes and ends up spending all her time and money on solving them instead of studying. They say when one door closes, another one opens. She somehow finds a way to work at the police station. But what's waiting for her is even more dreadful than her in-laws.

  Huiyeon is a beautiful patissier and owner of the cake shop "Genoise." Running four cake shops on her own, she is a woman of considerable wealth. As she enjoys chitchatting with the customers, she becomes close to Seolok and Wanseung who visit her cake shop often and even helps their investigation. Unlike Seolok, who is only good at catching criminals and has no idea about dating, Huiyeon approaches Wanseung with her elegant and feminine charms. At some point, Huiyeon, Wanseung and Seolok are caught up in a love triangle.

He is a very hard nut to crack, and it's hard to tell if he is on the side of the angels or the bad guys. He solves the cases on his own without trusting anybody. He seems to know more than necessary about Wanseung and Seolok. His feelings toward Seolok is as mysterious as his impassive face. Does he like her, or is he just using her? Is he helping her or disturbing her?
