2018 Winter Olympics Games will be held in Pyeongchang of South Korea. YEAH !!! Finally, South Korea successfully hosted the Olympics in 2018 for the first tim:heart.gif:e after failing in its bid in 2010 and 2014. It will be the first Winter Olympic Games and second Olympic Games in South Korea; the 1988 Summer Olympics were held in Seoul. Pyeongchang will also be the third Asian city to host the Winter Games after Sapporo, Japan (1972), Nagano, Japan (1998). PyeongChang is a major international multi-sport events scheduled to take place from 9 to 25 February 2018, in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Ironically, Pyeongchang hosted the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games and the 2009 IBU Biathlon World Championships were also held there .. Sports Olmpik In 2018, South Korea's patience paid off when she was selected to host the 2018 Olympic Winter Games cope Munich, Germany with a vote of 63 votes. I was so excited when Pyeongchang was chosen to host the 2018 Winter Olympics on July 6, 2011, Pyeongchang was announced as the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics and the 2018 Winter Paralympics. Pyeongchang is so popular with mountain hikers, especially at the southern part of Mount Seoraksan. For the 2018 Olympics, the city is being marketed with the CamelCase spelling of "PyeongChang" so a worldwide audience does not confuse it with Pyongyang, the capital of neighboring North Korea. I'm sure with high morale, dedication and hard work, the Korean athletes will give their best for the country and the fans next to the winner of the Olympic Games 2018. We Are One !! I love Korea.
